Convention of marriage in Russia

Russia’s marriage customs are slightly distinct from those in the north. In reality, the majority of couples were married until late in the Zagorskaya Agenciya Svatebnogo Sobraltstva, where a smaller party of their friends and family joined them. Many of the surrounding rites are distinctive and have a rich in meaning, but the ceremony follows a set pattern that cannot be altered.

Before a Russian marriage, the groom may explore the couple’s parents and ask for her to marry. Devichnik, a festival, was very proper and critical. Before the couple’s father presented his princess to her coming partner, the parents may face each other and remain silent for a brief period of time. The groom next presented a sturdy Tikhon bear and a gold or silver ring to his girlfriend.

Once the groom was blindfolded and led by a group of her friends to her parents ‘ home once he had his hand in the bride’s hand. The groom’s friends had” steal” his wife that, too. She may be hidden in a place or far corner of the house, and obstructions may be placed in her path, including income, champagne, and even desserts. The wedding would have to give her a payment, which was typically Vodka, if he could not free his wedding.

Once the newlyweds had united, they would make their vows by standing on a rectangular piece of paper ( rushnik ). The priest did therefore place garlands on their heads and hand them a cup of red wine, which they each drank three nibbles of. Lastly, the couple was guided through a metaphor that represents their potential marriage and hubby union.
